Arsenal put Lucas Perez on the transfer market
The player asked the club to let him go and the response was positive
He wants to return to La Liga and Depor are interested although Sevilla have some interest too
Arsenal have agreed to let Lucas Perez leave the club this summer, according to the player's agent, after he failed to break into the team in his first season in the English top flight after arriving from Deportivo de la Coruna for 20 million euros.
"We spoke to Arsenal, we told them that we wanted to leave and they said they will not hold us back, athough they will not give him away either," said Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle, his agent.
He said the player would like to go back to Spain and in that sense, Depor, the club of his city, have priority, although in the end Lucas "doesn't depend on himself" because he is not free to go anywhere he wants.
Fernandez Lovelle said that "for now" he had not spoken with Sevilla, who are said to be interested. Perez played only 11 times in the PL, 4 times in the FA Cup, 3 in the UCL and 3 in the EFL cup, scoring seven and providing five assists.
