Alexis Sánchez's enigmatic messages

Alexis Sánchez, the Chilean star, has broken his silence after his failed move to Manchester City this summer. He posted some messages on Instagram Stories, referring not just to his career but also to Chile’s defeat in the latest round of World Cup Qualifiers.

In three stories, he posted three different messages. In one, he put “You will realise that what today seems like a sacrifice will end up being the biggest achievement of your life”.

He followed it up with "What you do is important but the reason for it is much more important", and the third said "when the world makes you remember your defeats, make it remember your innumerable victories”.
