Alexis Sanchez's contract negotiations with Arsenal break up
The Chilean forward wants a lot of money which, due to the pound's value decreasing, Arsenal are not willing to pay
Alexis Sanchez has rejected Arsenal's latest contract offer. According to the Mirror, the Chilean forward's people have been negotiating witht he club for months over an extention to the contract he has, which expires in June 2018, but the depreciation of the pound, along with other demands the club will not match have caused a rupture in neogtiations.
Arsenal's Chilean forward, formerly of FC Barcelona, is currently paid 130,000 pounds a week and the forward wants a big wage hike that matches the likes of other top Premier League stars.
According to the English paper Manchester City and Juventus are interested in signing him and if Sanchez ends up at the end of the season with just a year to run on his contract the club may have to sell or face losing him for free at the end of the season.
