The Juve striker's dad did not understand Sampaoli's false nine tactics against France

Reactions to Argentina's early World Cup exit against France are still coming in. The Albiceleste were beaten 4-3 in the last 16 by Didier Deschamps' side.

On this occasion it is the father of Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuin who has spoken out, on Canal America. He blasted coach Jorge Sampaoli's tactics.

Jorge Higuain said "Really I can't see a valid reason he should stay. I don't know why he played without a striker against France. Sampaoli has his reasons. You have two lads who have 600 goals between them (Higuain, Aguero) and he didn't put either of them on the team-sheet."

The Juve player's dad added: "We started with the idea of a false nine and ended up with Enzo Perez up front."
