CONFIRMED: Salah will make his return against Russia tonight
"Today we'll see him on the pitch" is what Egypt coach Hector Cuper told EFE
Liverpool striker, Mohamed Salah, will start for Egypt in this evening's vital clash with Russia, Hector Cuper has confirmed.
Salah has stepped it up in training over the last few days and while he was ready from the start of the tournament, the Egyptian medical and coaching staff opted for a more conservative approach and he wasn't picked against Uruguay.
"Mohamed is fine. He's desperate to play and knows that his country needs him. Today we'll see him on the pitch," Cuper explained to EFE. "Our objective is to win tonight."
The Egyptians face off against Russia knowing they need to get points on the board following their debut loss to Uruguay.
