Valencia are set to sign Kevin Gameiro from Atletico Madrid
The French striker will sign a three-year deal with Los Che in a deal worth up to €20m
Valencia are very close to signing Atletico Madrid striker Kevin Gamiero. According to 'Cadena COPE' the current plan is for French forward to train with his new teammates on Tuesday under the orders of Marcelino.
The transfer fee for Gameiro will be somewhere between €15m and €20m and he'll sign a three year contract at the club.
Valencia had already admitted to being in talks with Atletico about signing the striker. "He's a very interesting footballer, a very good player and there has been contact (with him)," confessed Valencia chief Mateu Alemany.
Awaiting just the official announcement, Valencia will look for Gameiro to plug the gap left by Simone Zaza. The Italian forward will return to his home country with Milan, while Gameiro fill form an attacking trident alongside Rodrigo Moreno and Santi Mina.
