The Argentine was Barça's top target before the coronavirus pandemic

Barcelona have not given up. They still want Lautaro Martinez and are ready to do the impossible to land the Inter Milan striker.

As they continue to try and bring in money through player sales, Barça are ready to make a renewed attempt to land the Argentine international before the transfer deadline.

After reaching an agreement to allow Arturo Vidal to join Inter for next to nothing, the relationship between the two clubs is good, so they can talk about other operations.

After scoring a hat-trick in the friendly against Pisa, Lautaro remains Barça's No1 attacking target and, according to the Italian newspaper 'Corriere dello Sport, the Blaugrana have presented a new cash plus players offer.

The Barça board know it will be difficult to convince Inter to sell in a window that has seen clubs with little to spend but are trying anyway.

Luis Suarez has been included in the offer. The striker is looking for an exit after his move to Juventus fell through. Junior Firpo is also part of the deal.

It's a clever way to bring down the Italian club's 111 million euros asking price, although it remains to be seen if it will be enough to finally bring Lautaro to Camp Nou.
