Neymar will not play again until January
The club said in a statement that his return will not be as quick as first thought
Paris Saint-Germain published a statement on Saturday saying that Neymar will not return to action until January, after spraining his left ankle. The club said in a statement that he is being treated in an Ooredoo centre.
Neymar got injured on Dec 13 after a tackle from his compatriot Thiago Mendes, during PSG's 1-0 home defeat by Lyon.
The forward went off on a stretcher in tears, leaving people to fear the worst. "They were tears caused by the pain, the lack of hope, the fear, the anguish the surgery, the crutches and other bad memories," said Neymar on social media.
