Barca defender Moussa Wague out for nine months
He is on loan at PAOK Salónica but had knee surgery from Dr Cugat this week
Moussa Wague had knee surgery on Saturday after the bad injury he suffered this week and he will be out for nine months. Barcelona published a medical statement about the right-back, who is on loan at PAOK Salonica. The operation was a success on the tendons in his right knee.
It was done by Dr Ramonc Cugat under supervision from Barcelona medics. He will take conservative treatment regarding a knee ligament injury in the same knee.
Wague suffered the injury after trying to clear a ball to safety in his team's clash with Aris Thessaloniki. His knee clashed violently against the post which caused the injury to be so bad. He left the pitch in a lot of pain.
He had been having a good season with 11 appearances between the league and Europa League, getting a domestic assist.
