Neymar, and the Brazil doctors, are both optimistic that his injury won't see him miss a lot of playing time

PSG's Brazilian star Neymar has posted a positive message to his followers after he was forced to leave the pitch due to injury in the match between Brazil and Cameroon in London. The star was unable to complete his 100th match for Brazil.

"I don't think it's anything serious," explained Neymar on social media. "We've finished the year on a high for the work we've done. These last matches were important to recover after a disappointing World Cup exit. We're still strong, focused and looking to be better each time. Thanks for everything. Thanks to everyone who has sent me messages wishing that me a fast recovery, but I don't think it's anything serious. I'm very happy and proud to have reached 100 caps. It's an honour to represent the best team in the world," he wrote on Instagram.

The Brazilian medical team are also optimistic about Neymar's injury not being serious. The head doctor, Rodrigo Lasmar, said this: "He felt some discomfort in his right thigh. We evaluated the problem and began his treatment but we need to wait a few days before we have another look. He'll undergo medical tests. At the moment, it doesn't look like a serious injury."
