Neymar has sent a clear and convincing message as he continues to look for redemption at his current club, Paris Saint-Germain, following his failed attempt to flee in the summer.
"I am happy here and I am a player for this club, a professional, and I am going to give my best for PSG," the Brazil forward said in an interview with Otro.
The former Barcelona man added: "I will give 100 percent and I will try to help the club win [games and trophies], especially the Champions League."
Currently injured for a month, Neymar wants fans to focus on what he does on the pitch even though he knows some won't forgive him for wanting to leave in the summer.
"I understand how the feel, but I ask them to understand me, too," he said. "When you're not happy, whatever job you do, you try to leave and to make a change. That's what I wanted to do, but in the end, I stayed and, like I said, I will do the best I can."
