The Parisian side confirmed Henrique was being sacked and Leo was stepping in

PSG made official what had been a badly kept secret. Sporting director Antero Henrique was sacked after two seasons in the role and former Milan sporting director Leonardo has been appointed in his stead. He has been in Paris for a few days, planning the squad for next season.

Henrique, Portuguese, arrived at the club helping to bring in Neymar for 222m euros. He also brought in Kylian Mbappe. Formerly Porto sporting director for 11 seasons, he could not however achieve results in the Champions League, which is what the club's president wants so badly.

As is usual, PSG left a message thanking Henrique for his work and wishing him future success.
