Kylian Mbappe confirms he's staying at PSG next season

A new twist in the Kylian Mbappe saga at Paris Saint-Germain. The French striker has confirmed on social media that he is staying at the Parisian club next season after reports suggested he would leave the club this summer.

The French striker released a statement this midday clarifying his contractual situation with the Parisian club. Mbappe explained to PSG that he was not going to renew in July last year, meaning his contract with the club will end next year with no option to extend his stay in Paris. In recent days, the player himself has taken it upon himself to remind the Parisian side in a letter that his commitment to the club will end next summer in 2024.

The confirmation of the French striker's decision would have changed PSG's plans, who would be willing to sell the player this summer rather than let Mbappe leave for free next year. The rumours of a possible move to Real Madrid were growing as the hours went by....

However, the player himself has responded to reports that he is set to leave the club this summer. In a brief message on social media, Mbappe confirmed that he is staying at PSG for at least this coming year: "Lies... At the same time, the bigger it gets, the more it happens. I have already said that I will stay next season at PSG, where I am very happy," said the player.
