Is Dani Alves 'playing' with PSG and Manchester City?

Dani Alves got married in Ibiza while his future is being dominated by speculation. After it seemed a given he would join Manchester City, reports emerged linking him with Paris Saint-Germain. And the Brazilian has still not given anything away. 

It's at the point where there is a suspicion that the player is playing both clubs in a bid to get a better deal. That's what's been suggested in Paris after PSG's interest was revealed and it was claimed no deal has yet been signed with Premier League side City. 

L'Equipe reported on Saturday that Alves had agreed a two-year deal with PSG, who had improved on City's offer. The report said that the French club's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi wanted to make a statement with the signing of the former Barcelona man. However, as the hours have passed, there has been no more information. 

PSG are still waiting for an answer while Manchester City are keeping quiet

In Manchester, there's silence from City with regards to Alves. Weeks after the player suggested a deal with the English club was close -- and news that he's signed a two-year deal -- nothing has been confirmed. 

Therefore, in Paris there's a growing belief that the player, who left Juventus earlier this summer, is using PSG to get a better deal. 

A move to City is still the most likely option, where he would join up with Pep Guardiola once again, having worked with the Catalan coach for four years at Barcelona following his move from Sevilla.
