Brazil international Neymar has not forgotten Barcelona. The player took advantage of some time off this weekend to return to the Catalan capital and catch up with old friends. It was a trip which lasted hardly 48 hours, but served to reveal that he is missing his life in the city

Neymar landed in Barcelona Saturday via a private flight, along with his sister Rafaella, her partner Gabigol (who plays for Benfica) and some of his friends from the 'Toiss', such as Carlos Rique, Gilmar Araujo, Jô Amancio and Ismael 'Big Black'.

Upon his arrival in Barcelona, the first footballer he caught up with was his friend Leo Baptistao, who plays for Espanyol.

In the evening, Neymar and his entourage visited one of his favourite places in the city, Sutton Club Barcelona, and then headed to the city's casino, another of his favourite hangouts when he was a Barça player. After, they returned to the Hotel Arts, where they were spending the weekend.

On Sunday morning, Neymar, along with his son, David Lucca, headed to Barça Ciutat Esprtiva Joan Gamper to see his former teammates and friends, Leo Messi and Luis Suarez. The Catalan club themselves shared images of the Paris Saint-Germain player's visit. It's a visit which was not well received by all the club's supporters, who have still not forgiven him for the way he left in the summer.

Neymar then shared lunch with Gerard Pique in a place on Calle Tusset, while his friends remained on the terrace in the hotel and dined at the Arola Restaurant.

The group set off back to the French capital at 07.00h in the morning via a private flight after an intense 48 hours in the Catalan capital.
