Cesc Fabregas, very close to Monaco move
L'Equipe say the Chelsea midfielder is ready to move to the Ligue 1 side
Cesc Fabregas is not having the protagonism he wants under Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea. He has had a secondary role - playing just one entire Premier League match - and is looking for the exit.
The former Arsenal and Barca player has been linked with AC Milan, but Monaco are closer to signing him say L'Equipe. They say negotiations are going well between the two parties. A deal may be sealed next week.
One of the key reasons is Monaco coach Thierry Henry, whom he played with at Arsenal between 2003 and 2007.
