The Dutchman is convinced the duo will do well in Catalonia

Jordi Cruyff has taken up the role of his late father Johan, it seems. He has written a column in Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf. In his most recent he pointed Ajax duo Frenkie De Jong and Matthijs De Ligt towards Barcelona. The Catalan club would love to sign the Ajax duo.

"Money is not important when clubs like PSG and Man City show interest. Whoever you choose, it's always good. The key is how you take the correct decision. Pep Guardiola is the perfect coach for De Jong and De Ligt but, what will happen when he goes? Will Man City stay betting on the same DNA? The same applies to PSG, what happens if the owners get bored?"

Cruyff is convinced they should move to Barcelona and the Camp Nou.

"In that sense, Barca offers more security," he added. "Whoever the coach is or whoever runs the club. the sporting policy is always the same.As a player you're never dependent on who is in charge."
