Villarreal took the lead thanks to a penalty goal from Gerard Moreno in the 45th minute just before the end of the 45 minutes to establish the 2-1, which saw the first half to a 2-1.
Villarreal boosted the game in the second half, thanks to a new goal from Paco Alcacer, scoring his second goal in the 67th minute, finalising the game with a 3-1.
