Valencia sign Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista
He has penned a five year deal with an 80m release fee clause
The defender joined the Gunners in 2015 from Villarreal
Valencia announced the signing of defender Gabriel Paulista on Friday, with the centre-back joining from Arsenal for 12 million euros.
“The Brazilian has signed on for the next five seasons, until June 30, 2022, with a release clause of 80 million euros,” explained Valencia.
Gabriel, 26, joined Arsenal from Villarreal in January 2015 and becomes the club's third summer signing after Neto and Nemanja Maksimovic from Juve and FC Astana.
Arsenal wished Gabriel the best of luck on his new adventure.
