Valencia drop points against Real Valladolid1-1 at José Zorrilla

Real Valladolid was held down on Saturday at José Zorrilla by Valencia as the game ended 1-1. Real Valladolid wanted to improve their position in the tournament after losing 2-0 against Getafe while Valencia scored a 1 draw against Real Madrid, adding a point in the last match played of the competition. As of today, Real Valladolid is 14th on the table and has 20 points while Valencia is 7th with 28 points after 18 matches.

There were no goals during the first half and the first part ended 0-0.

Real Valladolid boosted the game in the second half, with a goal from Sergi Guardiola 83 minutes in the game. Valencia gave an equalizer thanks to a goal from Manu Vallejo in the 90th minute just before the end of the second half to establish the 1-1, finalising the game with a 1-1.

At the end of the match, both teams made 3 substitutions each. For Valladolid, Sergi Guardiola, Oscar Plano and Anuar came on for Sandro Ramirez, Pablo Hervias and Toni Villa, while Valencia brought on Denis Cheryshev, Manu Vallejo and Vicente Esquerdo to replace Ruben Sobrino, Rodrigo Moreno and Carlos Soler.

The referee booked three players from Valencia, Carlos Soler, Francis Coquelin and Dani Parejo.

Valencia and Real Valladolid will play at home stadium against Eibar and Leganés respectively.
