Valencia draw again to leave coach Marcelino under pressure

Valencia's rocky season continued and Marcelino's future as coach remains uncertain after his side were held to a 1-1 draw by Real Valladolid at Mestalla on Saturday.

Dani Parejo's goal had set Valencia on course for three points but a late free-kick from Alcaraz earned a point for the visiting side.
Valencia have now drawn 11 of their 19 LaLiga games this season, winning just four, and Marcelino's job is on the line.
There were no jeers on Saturday, just silence. Supporters left Mestalla perplexed at how their side had failed to win once again.
After missing several chances, Valencia were given a golden chance to take the lead after the break when they were awarded a penalty.
However, former Barcelona goalkeeper Jordi Masip saved Rodrigo Moreno's spot kick and the rebound was scrambled clear by Valladolid.
Valencia, though, may have thought their luck was changing when Parejo opened the scoring inside the final 20 minutes.
But there was a late twist when Alcaraz converted a late free-kick to earn Valladolid a share of the spoils and leave Valencia with just two wins in 10 home games in the league.
As things stand, and with more games to be played this weekend, Valencia sit 10th and Valladolid are currently 14th.
