Sergio Ramos injured his knee after contesting a header and will miss the next month at least

Sergio Ramos tore a knee ligament during Spain’s 2-0 win over Albania and is set to miss a month injured.

He fell awkwardly after trying to head the ball and had to be substituted. 

Real Madrid also have several injury problems, with Casemiro, Marcelo, Luka Modric and James Rodriguez among those who have been injured or currently are.

Doctor Oscar Celada confirmed the bad news for Ramos after the game after investigation in the dressing room at the Loro Borici Stadium following Spain’s victory. 

Ramos is set to miss a month injured at least - it could be longer depending on the severity and recovery speed.
