Real suffer defeat against Sevilla

On Saturday, Real suffer an away defeat to Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán. Sevilla wanted to continue adding points after a 1-1 draw against Real Betis. Real Sociedad were beaten 2-1 in the previous match against Barcelona. After today's result, both teams are on 30 points and occupy 4th and 5th places respectively after 18 matches.

Sevilla started strong and were rewarded, beginning with early goal from Youssef En-Nesyri in the 4th minute. However, they didn't maintain the lead for long though, an equalizer from a goal from Diego Carlos in minute 5 brought Real Sociedad level. However, Sevilla reestablished their lead 2-1 thanks to another goal from Youssef En-Nesyri 7 minutes into the game. However, their lead didn't last for long, as an equalizer from a goal from Alexander Isak, 14 minutes in brought Real Sociedad level. However, Sevilla just before half-time found the back of the net following a new Youssef En-Nesyri goal, thereby seeing the first half to a 3-2. The second 45 minutes ended with little further action at either end and goalless.

For Sevilla, Aleix Vidal, Munir El Haddadi, Oscar, Luuk De Jong and Franco Vazquez came on for Modibo Sagnan, Jon Guridi, Mikel Oyarzabal and Portu, while Real brought on Robin Le Normand, Ander Barrenetxea, Roberto Lopez and Adnan Januzaj to replace Modibo Sagnan, Jon Guridi, Mikel Oyarzabal and Portu.
