Osasuna strolled past Mallorca with a 3-2 win on Sunday at Estadi de Son Moix. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Mallorca were looking forward to meeting again after losing their last game 6-1 to R Madrid while Osasuna lost 3-1 in the last match they played against Real Betis. After today's result, Mallorca are in 12th place on the table and has 8 points while Osasuna sit in 6th with 11 points after 7 matches.

Osasuna started the first half well, with Jose Angel finding the net, 9 minutes in. However, the good fortune didn't last for long. An equalizer from Dani Rodriguez at the 11 minute mark brought The Vermilions level. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Fernando Nino just before half-time. The first half ended 2-1.

Los Rojillos continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Inigo Perez at the 58 minute mark. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Javi Martinez just before the final whistle with a final score of 3-2.
