Sevilla are hoping to sign the Spain international on loan

Manchester City forward Manuel Agudo 'Nolito' and Sevilla Sporting director Oscar Arias met in an ice cream parlour close to the Sanchez Pizjuan on Tuesday.

The photograph shows the two men chatting with Nolito currently back in the region to spend some time off in his hometown Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz) while deciding what to do with his future.

The image quickly circulated on social media and have led to reports of Sevilla's interest in signing the former Celta Vigo man. Nolito has already admitted he's keen to return to Spain after falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola.

City signed him from Vigo last summer for 18 million euros, with Barcelona also interested in bringing him back to Camp Nou at the same time.

Sevilla has City's Samir Nasri on loan last season with an option to buy -- which they did not execute in the end -- and may be keen to sign Nolito on similar terms.

The Andalusian club are yet to appoint a new manager, with Jorge Sampaoli leaving to take the Argentine job. However, Eduardo Berizzo is the favourite to take charge, a coach who worked with Nolito in Vigo.

Jesus Navas may also return to the club from Man City after he was allowed to leave following the expiration of his contract this month.
