MARCA: Lucas Hernandez will sign for Bayern Munich in January
The German side will pay the 80m euro buy-out clause for the French defender
Lucas Hernandez will leave Atletico Madrid in January and sign for Bundesliga side Bayern Munich, according to Marca. The German giants are willing to pay his 80m euro buy-out clause on January 1 as they start remodelling their squad.
Despite Lucas renewing his deal until 2024 at the Wanda Metropolitano, Bayern's offer is big and he will sign for them on a four-year deal. His last game may have been the 3-0 win over Alaves.
Lucas won the World Cup with France this summer and can play at both left-back and also in the middle of the defence.
