Marc Bartra's message after his triumphant debut
The former Barcelona man started for Betis and they beat Villarreal
Former Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra helped his new side Real Betis to a 2-1 win on his debut.
Bartra played 70 minutes at a good level and his team did not concede while he was on the pitch. He left to an ovation from the fans who were pleased with him and chanted his name on various occasions.
His patner Zou Feddal, by contrast, had a disappointing game - because he suffered an Achilles injury which will keep him out until the end of the season.
Bartra published an Instagram post celebrating his "dream debut" and offering Feddal support.
