Levante cruises against Getafe on a home win at Ciutat de Valencia on Saturday. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Levante wanted to improve their league standing after a 1-1 draw against Real Valladolid. Getafe, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, Levante are in 17th place on the table and has 11 points while Getafe sit in 13th with 13 points after 12 matches.

Levante started the game well, with early goal from Roger Marti in the 5th minute. Later, Levante took the lead with a goal form a goal from Dani Gomez, 17 minutes in, finalising the first half with a 2-0.

Levante continued to apply pressure the second half and were rewarded, with Jorge De Frutos Sebastian opening the scoring, 57 minutes in, and the game ended 3-0.

For Levante, Mickael Malsa, Jose Luis Morales, Jorge Miramon, Sergio Leon and Edgar Sevikyan came on for Jaime Mata, Allan Nyom, Cucho Hernandez, Mathias Olivera and Angel Rodriguez, while Getafe brought on Xabier Etxeita, Nemanja Maksimovic, Enes Ünal, Victor Mollejo and John Joe Patrick Finn to replace Jaime Mata, Allan Nyom, Cucho Hernandez, Mathias Olivera and Angel Rodriguez.

The referee booked Dani Gomez and Roger Marti from Levante. Getafe had the worst of it though, with Djene, Angel Rodriguez, Jaime Mata, Mauro Arambarri, Allan Nyom and Marc Cucurella seeing yellow, and Djene (2 yellow cards) and Chema then sent off with a red.

Levante will next travel to Barcelona, while Getafe will face Sevilla at home.
