The La Liga chief likes the idea of Messi returning from PSG to the Spanish top flight

La Liga president Javier Tebas has been speaking about Barcelona, something quite usual by now. This time it was about a potential return for Lionel Messi to the Catalan giants, after his recent UCL elimination with PSG and the whistling he and Neymar got.

Tebas would like to see the Argentine forward back, along with potential arrivals for stars like Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

“I think he’s got two or three years left at a really good level,” Tebas said of Messi.

“At 80 per cent of what we’ve seen he’s still at the highest level.”

Words arriving just as Barcelona look to find an agreement with CVC.

Tebas was also clear when speaking to ESPN. “The marriage between Messi and Barcelona was perfect and I think a reconciliation would generate important economic synergies for both sides. It would be good, economically.”
