Iker Casillas, through his Twitter account, has welcomed new Real Madrid manager Rafa Benitez to the club.
"Welcome home!" the goalkeeper wrote. "It is an honour to have you back and I can't wait to begin working [with you] soon."
Casillas is one of the first players to show his support for Benitez, with many players disappointed to see Carlo Ancelotti leave the club.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos were among those who did not want Ancelotti to be fired.
He was, though, and Benitez was presented as the new manager on Wednesday. Emotional, he promised he would "work hard" to help the Madrid get back among the titles.
However, he didn't want to talk about Casillas' future or any matters do with incomings and outgoings.
