Griezmann and Manchester United: It would be incredible to play with Pogba
The French forward has spoken of his desire to play alongside his compatriot in the future
Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has declared that he’d like to play alongside his France teammate Paul Pogba at club level.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Griezmann has admitted his interest in Manchester United and Pogba.
“I always ask Paul Pogba about Manchester United,” he said to the British television network. “I think they are a huge club with a really good infrastructure.
“I ask Paul about some of the players, and if they're really that good, or if Jose Mourinho is really that good.”
However, he didn’t want to talk about a move to Old Trafford in the near future.
He added: “You hear a lot of things [speculation] about Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain but right now I don't see me moving to a new club.
“But it would be awesome to play alongside Paul one day.”
Griezmann has shown his friendship with Pogba on many occasions. When they’re with the French team they regularly upload photos to social media.
Seeing the Atleti man’s desires, it wouldn’t be strange to see them at the same club in the future. He’s certainly a player Jose Mourinho would like.
