Granada sways pass Valladolid 2-1 on Saturday at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes. Granada arrived with the intention of regaining victory after losing 1-0 against Atlético Madrid while Real Valladolid had to settle for a draw in the last match played of the competition. At the moment, Granada and Real Valladolid occupy position 9th (33 points) and 15th (26 points) respectively after playing a total of 24 matches.
There were no goals during the first half of the game.
Real Valladolid took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Sergi Guardiola 56 minutes in the game. However, Granada gave an equalizer 1-1 thanks to a goal from Antonio Puertas 81 minutes in the game. Later, Granada scored once more and turned the match 2-1 thanks to a goal from Carlos Fernandez in the 90th minute just before the end of the second half, finalising the game with a 2-1.
At the end of the match, both teams made 3 substitutions each. For Granada, Darwin Machis, Antonio Puertas and Fede Vico came on for Gil Dias, Victor Diaz and Alvaro Vadillo, while Valladolid brought on Waldo Rubio, Michel Herrero and Antonio Regal to replace Toni Villa, Sergi Guardiola and Oscar Plano.
The referee booked Dimitri Foulquier and Carlos Fernandez from Granada, while for Real Valladolid Fede San Emeterio and Oscar Plano saw a yellow card as well.
