Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone says Cristiano Ronaldo should not have been sent off when playing for Juventus at Valencia on Wednesday.
"It didn't seem like he did anything at all and he got sent off," said Simeone, who backs the input of VAR in the Spanish league.
"Now with the evolution of VAR, seeing the way they punished Ronaldo the other day we have to pay a lot of attention to everything," said Cholo.
"Referees have the possibility of having this help today and it's clear that that changes a lot beyond what happens on the pitch, in terms of play, intensity and what that can mean."
