Sevilla enjoyed a mesmerizing away victory against Getafe at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez on Sunday. Getafe wanted to improve their position in the tournament after losing 2-1 against Barcelona while Sevilla had to settle for a draw in the last match played of the competition. As of today, Getafe and Sevilla occupy position 4th (42 points) and 3rd (43 points) respectively after playing a total of 25 matches.
An impressive opening from Sevilla, thanks to a goal from Lucas Ocampos just before the end of the 45 minutes, thereby seeing the first half to a 0-1.
Sevilla took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Fernando 67 minutes in the game. Later, Sevilla scored again and increased their lead 0-3 thanks to a goal from Jules Kounde 75 minutes in the game, which saw the second half to a 0-3.
At the end of the match, both teams made 3 substitutions each. For Getafe Angel Rodriguez, Mauro Arambarri and Robert Kenedy came on for Deyverson, Oghenekaro Etebo and Allan Nyom, while Sevilla brought on Yassine Bounou, Sergi Gomez and Oliver Torres to replace Tomas Vaclik, Suso and Fernando.
The referee booked Marc Cucurella, Oghenekaro Etebo, Allan Nyom, Jorge Molina, Djene, Chema and Nemanja Maksimovic from Getafe, while for Sevilla Sergio Reguilon, Jules Kounde and Jesus Navas saw a yellow card as well.
Getafe will be playing against Mallorca at away stadium, while Sevilla will face Osasuna at home stadium.
