Aspas scored two as Celta fought back from 2-0 down
It had to be him. On the days of his long awaited from an injury layoff, Iago Aspas inspired an epic comeback as Celta Vigo beat Villarreal 3-1 at Balaidos on Saturday.

Celta began the day in the relegation zone, four points behind fourth bottom Villarreal. They simply could not afford to lose.
Despite the boost of having Aspas back in the side, they got off to a bad start. Ekambi and Pedraza goals helped Villarreal into a two-goal lead at the break.
But Celta regrouped and were a different side after the break. Aspas got them back into the game before strike partner Maxi Gomez drew them level.
The stage was set for a hero and Aspas proved that man. The local idol slotted home a late penalty to grab the three points and heat up the scrap at the bottom.
In tears of pure joy and emotion at the end of the game, Aspas is going to have a big role in the coming weeks if Celta are going to stay in the top flight.
