Messi won it last year and leads the way again
One of the most interesting La Liga prizes is the Pichichi, which goes to the competition's top goalscorer. Lionel Messi won it last year with 34 goals and he's on his way to winning it again with 34 goals so far.
Messi is trailed by Barcelona team-mate Luis Suarez with 21 and Real Madrid's Karim Benzema, also with 21. Here is the table:
