UD Las Palmas are interested in signing the ex-Barça forward on loan

Mark Hughes will let him leave following the arrival of Jesé

Bojan Krkic could return to La Liga five years after leaving Barcelona for Stoke City. UD Las Palmas want the Catalan forward to strengthen their squad after their pointless start to the season.

According to Canarias Radio La Autonómica, Las Palmas have started negotiations with Stoke and have reached an agreement with the player.

Bojan’s situation has been affected by the arrival of Jesé Rodríguez at Stoke on loan. This has pushed Bojan further down the pecking order behind the Cameroonian Choupo-Mouting, the Englishman Berahino, the veteran Peter Crouch, the Swiss Shakiri and now, Jesé.

However, the transfer won’t be straightforward as Las Palmas, who are also sounding out the Frenchman Loic Remy, cannot afford all the player’s wages and there could also be an offer from another Premier League. Bojan is very much in demand in Spain: Betis and Málaga have also shown an interested in signing the versatile forward.
