Home fans are jubilant as Ronald Koeman’s men secure all 3 points

On Monday, Real Valladolid suffer an away defeat to Barcelona at the Nou Camp. Barca were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two matches against Real Sociedad away and Huesca at home, by 6-1 and 4-1 respectively. Valladolid, on the other hand, secured a point against Seville in their previous match. At the moment, Barca are in 2nd place on the table and has 65 points while Valladolid sit in 16th with 27 points after 29 matches.

After an un-eventful first half, Barca applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Ousmane Dembele just before the final whistle. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 1-0 to Barca.

For Barca, Ronald Araujo, Trincao, Martin Braithwaite, Moriba Ilaix and Riqui Puig, came on for Saidy Janko, Sergi Guardiola and Kenan Kodro. Valladolid replaced Pablo Hervias, Marcos De Sousa and Waldo Rubio with Saidy Janko, Sergi Guardiola and Kenan Kodro.

The referee booked Antoine Griezmann, Oscar Mingueza and Martin Braithwaite from Barca. Valladolid had the worst of it though, with Bruno Gonzalez, Sergi Guardiola and Jordi Masip seeing yellow, and Oscar Plano then sent off with a red.

Barca will next travel to Real Madrid, while Valladolid will face Granada at home.
