Ronald Koeman's team secured all three points to Granada at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes on Saturday

Barça beat Granada with a thumping 0-4 victory on Saturday at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes. Granada were looking to get back winning ways after losing their last game 2-0 to Eibar while Barcelona were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Real Sociedad and Levante. As the table looks today, Granada are currently 7th with 24 points from 18 matches, while Barcelona sit in 3rd, with 34 points from 18.

The first half of the game started favourably for Barcelona, with Antoine Griezmann opening the rout in the 12th minute. Later, Barcelona scored again thanks to a goal from Lionel Messi in the 35th minute to establish the 0-2. Barcelona continued to apply pressure the second half and were rewarded, with Antoine Griezmann opening the scoring in the 63rd minute to hand victory to the visitors.

For Granada, Luis Milla, Jesus Vallejo, Luis Suarez, Robert Kenedy and Alberto Soro came on for Lionel Messi, Frenkie De Jong, Ousmane Dembele, Pedri and Sergino Dest, while Barça brought on Martin Braithwaite, Miralem Pjanic, Riqui Puig, Trincao and Junior Firpo to replace Lionel Messi, Frenkie De Jong, Ousmane Dembele, Pedri and Sergino Dest.

The referee booked Roberto Soldado and Luis Suarez from Granada and Jesus Vallejo went off with a red card, while Barcelona's Oscar Mingueza, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba also received yellows.

Next up, Granada are away to Villarreal, whilst Barcelona will travel to face Elche.
