Atletico defender Filipe Luis released from hospital
The left-back's out for the season but could still make the World Cup
Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis was released from hospital on Saturday after undergoing surgery on the broken leg he suffered in his side's win over Lokomotiv Moscow on Thursday.
The La Liga side say the left-back will be out for the next eight weeks, ruling him out for the rest of the season but he could return for the World Cup for Brazil.
Filipe received the injury in a clash with Lokomotiv's Eder in the 63rd minute of Thursday's Europa League game in Russia and was replaced by Lucas Hernandez.
Atletico confirmed on Friday that he had suffered a break and that he would have to have an operation at a hospital in Madrid.
