Atlético cruise to a 2-0 win vs. Betis at Wanda Metropolitano

Atlético went pass Betis on a hard-earned victory of 2-0 on Saturday at Wanda Metropolitano. Atlético Madrid arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after winning away by a 0-2 victory against Celta while Real Betis lost by a result of 0-3 in the previous match against Real Sociedad. At the moment, Atlético Madrid is 2nd in the LaLiga, having garnered 11 points from 7 matches, while Real Betis sits at 10th with 9 points after playing a total of 7 matches.

The first half of the game started in favour of Atlético Madrid, thanks to a goal from Marcos Llorente just before the end of the 45 minutes, thereby seeing the first half to a 1-0.

Atlético Madrid took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Luis Suarez just before the end of the second half, and the game ended 2-0.

For Atlético, Yannick Carrasco, Hector Herrera, Joao Felix, Renan Lodi and Vitolo came on for Cristian Tello, William Carvalho, Guido Rodriguez and Sergio Canales, while Betis brought on Joaquin, Loren Moron, Borja Iglesias and Victor Ruiz to replace Cristian Tello, William Carvalho, Guido Rodriguez and Sergio Canales.

The referee booked Luis Suarez and Koke for Atlético Madrid and Martin Montoya saw the red card, for Real Betis.
