Everton's coach, Marco Silva, has confirmed that neither of the two new arrivals from Barcelona will make their debut until after the international break

The two most recent signings at Everton, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes, both arrived from Barcelona but neither will make their debut for the 'Toffees' until next month. This is what Marco Silva confirmed at his press conference on Thursday.

The 23-year-old Mina, who arrived on the 9th August, cost €31.7m while Gomes joined the English team on a season-long loan.

"It looks maybe after the international break they can start working with us," Silva announced to the media. "We will see next week how they are and after I can give a different update but it is possible after the break."

"It is important if everyone is ready to play. We are working to put everyone on the same level because all together we will be strong."

And that is how things stand. Mina and Gomes, who have already missed the first two league matches, won't represent their new club for another three and a half weeks. There is some good news for Everton fans when it comes to Bernard though. "Bernard is improving his condition and doing well and tomorrow I will take a decision."
