Vicente Iborra joins Villarreal from Leicester City
The midfielder signed on until 2023 after arriving from the King Power
Villarreal, 17th are looking to avoid relegation from La Liga and have signed Leicester City midfielder Vicente Iborra to try and do so.
The former Sevilla man adds experience and strength in the middle and could be a useful purchase. They signed him for an undisclosed fee.
“At 30 years old, Iborra is an experienced midfielder who is dominant in the air,” said Villarreal in a statement on their website.
“He has quality in front of goal, timing his runs from deep to perfection. He is a prestigious signing for the Yellow Submarine.”
Iborra used to play for Sevilla before moving to the King Power in the summer of 2017.
