Javier Tebas has come out and shot down rumours of him potentially leaving LaLiga to work with the Premier League

LaLiga's president, Javier Tebas, claims that he has no interest in taking a role with a Premier League as his "values" remain "in Spain".

"My values are in Spain and I'm not going to say anything more about that," is what Tebas said when asked about replacing Richard Scudamore at chief of the Premier League.

Unsurprisingly, Tebas was also asked to comment on video assistant referees in LaLiga. "We all commit mistakes. This season we'll remember, myself included, that we can commit errors." He refused to answer questions on whether he would try to bring a match to the United States again.

He was asked to respond to claims by Real Madrid coach, Santiago Solari, about how Barcelona had an extra day's rest ahead of the Copa Clasico. "We always try to be equal in that aspect."
