Brazil forward Neymar Jr was chosen as man of the match from his team's 2-0 win over Mexico in Samara. The Selecao reached the World Cup quarter-finals with a comfortable victory.
Neymar opened the scoring in the 51st minute from close range and then set up Firmino for the second with a low crossshot touched in by the Liverpool forward.
The victory confirms Brazil's status as favourites to win the tournament. They will face Japan or Belgium in Kazan on Friday at 5pm, with those two teams facing each other on Monday night in Rostov.
