Consternation. Impotence. Disappointment. Sadness. These are the feelings in the Barcelona B dressing room after finding out their 12-0 win over Eldense was because of alleged match-fixing.
“It’s a huge disgrace” as the phrase being repeated among Barcelona B players and coaches, who think the scandal is putting a lid on the fine form they have been in, diluting the great result they achieved and fine performances from the likes of Cucurella and Perea.
In the dressing room an important voice said: “if it hadn’t have been fixed we would have won eight or nine to zero, we are in a great moment of form.”
Gerard Lopez’s Barcelona B are having a very good season and are confident they can get promoted.
