The son of Tito Vilanova made his full debut on Sunday

Until last season he had been playing for Barcelona B

Adrià Vilanova, son of former Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova, made his full debut on Sunday for Hercules and scored as his side won 3-2 against Peralada.

The Catalan defender, 20, was making his first start for Hercules after joining the club from Barça B in the summer, where he had played infrequently.

Vilanova made his debut with a five minute appearance against Saguntino and this Sunday saw him make the starting lineup and find the back of the net.

Coach Gustavo Siviero had not played him before that appearance against Saguntino, though, as he gave him time to settle in and adapt to his new club.

Vilanova's goal came in the 37th minute and made it 1-1 after Peralada had taken the lead. And while Hercules went on to win the game, coach Siviero was dismissed after the full time whistle.

Former Barça player Vilanova has a one-year deal with Hercules.
