The world football organisation will only allow six loans in and out internationally

FIFA have decided to limit international loan moves for players 22 and over, as initially reported by SPORT. They will be limited to eight loans in and out in 2020-21, and six by 2022-23.

FIFA are also hoping domestic loans will also be limited in individual countries in a similar fashion.

"This modernised system will encourage and reward the training efforts of clubs and, as payments will be automated via the new FIFA Clearing House, it will ensure that training compensation is actually paid, which is often currently not the case," said FIFA.

FIFA are also planning on taking 1 per cent of all transfer fees to compensate clubs where players are formed.
