Football's biggest governing bodies have closed their doors the globe goes into confinement

No one is exempt from the coronavirus shut down going on across the world. Two of football's biggest governing bodies have closed their doors the globe goes into confinement.

FIFA confirmed on Tuesday that all their employers should work from home, where they would continue to liaise via email and telephone to keep governing the game.

In a statement, FIFA made it clear that this period of home working will prolong until, at least, April 3, with the decision reviewed later in March.

As for UEFA, they have closed up shop and will be working from home until April 30.
