Euro 2020 suspension takes Koeman away from Camp Nou
The Dutch coach wants to manage his team at the tournament so won't come to Barca
UEFA's decision to postpone Euro 2020 until 2021 leaves Ronald Koeman's future unknown. The Dutch coach was a figure Barcelona thought about hiring for after the tournament, but now he may stay in charge of the Netherlands for longer.
Koeman had a call from January from Barca to replace Ernesto Valverde but he was looking forward to the tournament. He has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave his deal until 2022 for Barca after the Euros.
In the new scenario he will likely now not be able to leave. It is hard to imagine his posture changing. Quique Setien also has a contract until 2022.
